David Glaser, LCSW

David Glaser is a therapist who works with older children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, mood challenges, ADHD, autism, and the increasing demands of school, relationships, and identity development.

His approach is thoughtful, individualized, neurodiversity-affirming, and grounded in a strong therapeutic relationship. David integrates evidence-informed practices—including Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, EMDR, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other neuropsychological perspectives—to help clients better understand themselves, build practical skills, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

He has particular experience supporting boys and young men who may be struggling with motivation, emotional regulation, social disconnection, or confusing cultural messages around identity and masculinity.

David also incorporates animal-assisted therapy into his work, when appropriate, to support connection and engagement in the therapeutic process.

He is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCTAP), Certified ADHD Professional (ADHD-CCSP), and Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP), with additional training in mindfulness-based approaches for children and adolescents.

Lore Drop

Outside of his clinical work, David enjoys spending time outdoors with his dog, Chicago. He also enjoys reading and crocheting (not usually at the same time), and often finds himself returning to the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. In addition, he participates in adventure racing—map and compass–based events that combine running, biking, and paddling.

Outside of her clinical work, Chicago enjoys medium-length trail runs, stopping to smell just about everything along the way, and, most of all, eating. She’s highly motivated by treats and is always happy to show off a few of her favorite tricks, including high-fives, rolling over, and climbing into participants’ laps in the office.
